Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
Please note: These Terms and Conditions are a template provided for transparency and must be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before production use.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://www.careercounsellingonline.com and the career counselling, assessment and related services offered by CCO — Career Counselling Online. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, booking a discovery call, purchasing a plan, or engaging any CCO service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or guardian booking on behalf of a minor, you accept these Terms on the minor's behalf. If you are entering into these Terms for an institution or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity. We may require you to reconfirm your acceptance from time to time.
2. Definitions
In these Terms, unless the context requires otherwise:
- "CCO", "we", "us" or "our" means Career Counselling Online, the provider of the services described in these Terms.
- "Client", "you" or "your" means any person who accesses the website or books, purchases or uses our services, including a parent or guardian acting for a student.
- "Services" means the career counselling, psychometric and brain-mapping assessments, admission guidance, reports, follow-up support and B2B programs described in Clause 3.
- "Session" means a scheduled one-to-one or group counselling interaction, whether conducted online or otherwise.
- "Report" means the written assessment output and career recommendations prepared for the Client.
3. Our Services
CCO provides career guidance services designed to help students, parents and professionals make informed, unbiased career decisions. Our Services include:
- Career counselling — structured one-to-one guidance for students and working professionals.
- Psychometric and brain-mapping assessments — profiling of personality, interests, motivators, aptitude and inborn intelligence to identify right-fit careers.
- Admission guidance — support with stream selection, course and college choices, and entrance-exam planning.
- B2B programs — counsellor certification, partner and white-label programs, and school and institutional engagements.
We may update, enhance or discontinue any part of the Services, or the features included in a particular plan, from time to time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that affect an active engagement.
4. Bookings, Sessions & Scheduling
To use our Services you must provide accurate and complete information when booking. A booking is confirmed once we acknowledge it and, where applicable, payment is received. Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred timing subject to counsellor availability. You are responsible for attending your Session at the agreed time, on a stable internet connection where the Session is online, and for ensuring that a parent or guardian is present where the Client is a minor. If you arrive significantly late, the Session may be shortened or treated as a rescheduling request under Clause 6.
5. Pricing & Payments
Our plans are published transparently. The current plans are:
- Basic — ₹5,000
- Pro — ₹6,500
- Advanced — ₹7,500
All prices are exclusive of taxes; applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other statutory levies will be charged in addition, as applicable. Payment is due at the time of booking unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may use third-party payment gateways to process payments, and your use of those services is subject to their own terms. Prices, plan inclusions and taxes may change from time to time; the price applicable to you is the one displayed or communicated at the time of your confirmed booking.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a Session, please inform us as early as possible using the contact details in Clause 18. We will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative slot. Rescheduling requested with adequate advance notice will normally be accommodated at no additional cost. Repeated last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or failure to attend a scheduled Session without prior notice may be treated as a completed Session and may not qualify for a refund. We reserve the right to reschedule a Session where a counsellor is unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, in which case you will be offered the next available slot.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with our Services. Our refund approach is intended to be fair and reasonable:
- A refund request must be raised in writing to the contact details in Clause 18.
- Where an assessment has been completed, a Report has been generated, or a counselling Session has been delivered, the corresponding portion of the fee is generally non-refundable, as the Service has substantially been provided.
- Where you cancel before any assessment, Report or Session has been delivered, we will consider a refund after deducting any non-recoverable transaction or administrative charges.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period, subject to payment-gateway timelines.
Nothing in this Clause limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law in India.
8. Assessment Disclaimer
Our psychometric and other assessments, and the Reports and recommendations that follow, are provided as guidance based on the individual's profile — their personality, interests, motivators and aptitude. They are intended to support informed decision-making. They are not a guarantee of admission to any institution, of employment, of a particular job, salary or income, or of any specific academic or career outcome. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, choices, market conditions and third-party decisions. You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make based on our guidance.
9. Brain Mapping Disclaimer
Our Brain Mapping assessment is a career-profiling tool that studies inborn intelligence and brain-dominance patterns to help identify natural strengths and right-fit careers. It is not a medical, clinical, psychological, psychiatric or neurological diagnosis, examination or treatment, and it must not be interpreted or relied upon as such. It does not diagnose, assess or treat any medical or mental-health condition. If you have any health, developmental or psychological concern, please consult a qualified medical or mental-health professional.
10. No Guarantee of Outcomes
CCO provides professional guidance designed to help you make better-informed decisions. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific result, including admission to any course or college, selection for any programme, employment, promotion, salary, ranking, or business or financial return. Any figures, examples or indicative outcomes shared during our Services or on our website are illustrative only, are not promises, and should not be relied upon as guaranteed. Your results will depend on your individual circumstances and actions.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Your use of any third-party website is at your own risk and subject to that website's own terms and privacy policy.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CCO, its founders, counsellors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of opportunity, admission, income or profit, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or connected with the Services shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to CCO for the specific Service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
15. Privacy
Your use of our website and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, protect and retain your personal data, and describes your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, or with your use of our website or Services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any applicable law, the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute. The parties will endeavour to resolve any dispute amicably before resorting to legal proceedings.
17. Changes to These Terms
